What this app allows is the user to add their food choices throughout the day and get a lump sum of their caloric intake. This makes it extremely easy to match the target of a normal caloric intake or one with a similar body complexture. This app is highly used by a number of bodybuilders, fitness athletes, and just your ordinary person. The break down in a the macro nutrient profile is also ideal for those looking to get a certain value of protein, carbohydrates, and fats that meet their daily requirements. It makes it much easier than keeping a mental note in your head or a notebook of the days breakdown.

The best part about this app? ITS FREEEEEE If the app did end up costing money one day, i would be more than willing to pay a good amount to keep this essential counter. Food choices are looked at differently, as another option is a bar code scanner which allows for easy entries. Simply by clicking the bar code icon one can scan any foods bar code and get an intimidate answer to the foods nutritional breakdown. This makes for an easy life and a much more conscious look at serving sizes. It trains one to better understand just what a serving size is as opposed to their previous incorrect beliefs. Before they may have viewed a heaping spoon of peanut butter and an apple as a great snack alternative, but truth behold something of this caliber is comparable to a meal. Yes everything in moderation is the key but the lack of knowledge with a foods nutritional profile usually accounts for an unaware caloric surplus.
- 4 tablespoons of peanut butter+medium sized apple=
- 45 grams carbs
- 32 g of fat
- 17 g of protein
- 526 CALORIES!!!
If you don't already have this app but have a fitness goal, I HIGHLY recommend you immediately go to your app store and download this app. What do you have to lose??? besides a few pounds ;)
