When I was first introduced to fitness, I was immediately hooked for life. Day after day i could physically see the difference with my body, loving what I was becoming and where this journey was headed. The changes in my nutrition and introduction to physical fitness were something I still remember to this day as being a waste of time never thinking it would interest me, but man was I wrong. Food was an issue for me growing up consistently eating the worst choices present and never knowing when to stop. After eating everything on my plate I then resorted to others leftovers to satisfy my addiction. I was ADDICTED to food.
Eating far more calories than what the average teenager should, I saw nothing wrong with it and had no idea the damage I was causing to my body. This all changed after being constantly bullied growing up for being so overly obese; I knew i had to change. Football flyers were passed around our school and I knew this was my chance to make something of myself and change my life for the better. The first of the many changes i made was a simple one that included only consuming water as my beverage of choice. This minute change accounted for a huge initial drop in weight and change in mood. The next approach was a change with food intake and once again the physical changes in the mirror made for my 100% commitment towards loosing weight.
I can gladly say that i eventually reached my teenager goal physique 3 years later and i pay a huge contribution to football. Football was my life growing up and was something I loved that mentally and physically changed my outlook not only on fitness and health but struggles we face on a daily basis. When faced with a difficult task, I would imagine it as the last play of a big game, giving it all I possibly had. If I did fail, knowing that I did everything I possible could left me leaving with my head held high. I live by this moto and push my self to the absolute limit everyday whether that be in the gym, school, or with my career.
The overall idea of this blog is to give my past experiences with the internet to help those achieve their fitness goals thru personal experience as well as a wide form of studies. I believe that anyone can help those achieve their desired body however unless you've been in their shoes at one part of your life, you may not understand the struggles one faces, however I CAN. I know what it's like to be made fun of, I know what it takes mentally to overcome the negativity and I know the dedication needed to become something you never thought was possible.
MY GOAL is to educate as many as I can with the use of the 3 most fundamental keys of fitness and making them work synergisticaly to help those accomplish their ultimate fitness goals.
